Cilindro Liscio

Cilindro Liscio is a terracotta vase without countersink which, among the pieces in our catalogue, has always been very successful. As you can see, the name has a cylindrical stem that ends at the base with a band of cornice slightly in relief. The mouth is edged by a ring with an almost round section under which a simple belt is added. For the rest, the stem of the vase, just wider than tall, is completely smooth. This handmade vase is available in five diameters (from 30 cm to 72 cm) and in two colours: Terracotta and Etruscan, a refined cold grey that recalls the primordial colour of the clayey mixture. Made of Galestro Colorobbia®, a type of clay specific for outdoor products, Cilindro Liscio Liscio is perfect for planting saplings (better if they are slender like cypresses) or shrubs with an arboreal development.

1. Dimensioni e Colorazioni
Eventuali variazioni cromatiche e dimensionali sono dovute alla lavorazione artigianale ed alla materia prima utilizzata per i nostri manufatti.
Ogni imperfezione non è da considerarsi un difetto, ma un pregio che rende prodotto unico.

2. Foro drenaggio
É fondamentale che ogni vaso (vuoto o che ospiti una pianta) abbia un buon drenaggio dell’acqua:l’acqua ristagnate potrebbe congelare alle basse temperature e provocare rotture.
Per evitare questo spiacevole inconveniente è fondamentale provvedere a mantenere libero il foro di drenaggio dell’acqua.
É inoltre opportuno che il vaso non poggi direttamente sul suolo, ma venga leggermente rialzato per evitare che un terreno argilloso possa otturare dall’esterno il foro di uscita dell’acqua.

Prestando attenzione a non ostruire il/i fori di drenaggio si consiglia di procedere per strati:

_Pietrisco bianco 18-25 mm (sul fondo del vaso)
_Argilla espansa (Sovrastante al pietrisco)
_Terriccio (Sopra all'argilla espansa)
