Faxi Solcato

Faxi Solcato is an aesthetic variant of Faxi, a medium sized terracotta vase with a round base, whose stem has been engraved at a regular distance to highlight as an overlapping of rings. Turned and shaved by hand, Faxi Solcato is in fact a large bowl with an elongated edge, wider than high. The pronounced rounded shape of the barrel does not affect the balanced ratio between the diameter of the base and the diameter of the mouth. Faxi Solcato is a capacious handmade jar that acquires more or less prominence depending on the angle of incidence of light. It finds a perfect location in the most diverse environments, both indoors and outdoors. The low and wide shape is perfect to host floral compositions or medium sized plants. Faxi Solcato is a handmade vase available in three colours.

1. Dimensioni e Colorazioni
Eventuali variazioni cromatiche e dimensionali sono dovute alla lavorazione artigianale ed alla materia prima utilizzata per i nostri manufatti.
Ogni imperfezione non è da considerarsi un difetto, ma un pregio che rende prodotto unico.

2. Foro drenaggio
É fondamentale che ogni vaso (vuoto o che ospiti una pianta) abbia un buon drenaggio dell’acqua:l’acqua ristagnate potrebbe congelare alle basse temperature e provocare rotture.
Per evitare questo spiacevole inconveniente è fondamentale provvedere a mantenere libero il foro di drenaggio dell’acqua.
É inoltre opportuno che il vaso non poggi direttamente sul suolo, ma venga leggermente rialzato per evitare che un terreno argilloso possa otturare dall’esterno il foro di uscita dell’acqua.

Prestando attenzione a non ostruire il/i fori di drenaggio si consiglia di procedere per strati:

_Pietrisco bianco 18-25 mm (sul fondo del vaso)
_Argilla espansa (Sovrastante al pietrisco)
_Terriccio (Sopra all'argilla espansa)
