Kato

Kato is a round base multiformat vase available in six sizes, from just 37 cm in diameter up to a good 135 cm. It is a modern reinterpretation of the traditional shape of the terracotta vase with folded edge, versatile and suitable for any context. Not very flared, Kato has an almost cylindrical stem that makes it very capacious, able to accommodate large shrubs or real saplings, even with branched foliage. In the larger diameter versions, this handmade design vase becomes a real urban furniture. In all six sizes, Kato is available in three colours. The hole at the base allows the flow of water from excess watering, which is very important for the health of the plant planted.

1. Dimensioni e Colorazioni
Eventuali variazioni cromatiche e dimensionali sono dovute alla lavorazione artigianale ed alla materia prima utilizzata per i nostri manufatti.
Ogni imperfezione non è da considerarsi un difetto, ma un pregio che rende prodotto unico.

2. Foro drenaggio
É fondamentale che ogni vaso (vuoto o che ospiti una pianta) abbia un buon drenaggio dell’acqua:l’acqua ristagnate potrebbe congelare alle basse temperature e provocare rotture.
Per evitare questo spiacevole inconveniente è fondamentale provvedere a mantenere libero il foro di drenaggio dell’acqua.
É inoltre opportuno che il vaso non poggi direttamente sul suolo, ma venga leggermente rialzato per evitare che un terreno argilloso possa otturare dall’esterno il foro di uscita dell’acqua.

Prestando attenzione a non ostruire il/i fori di drenaggio si consiglia di procedere per strati:

_Pietrisco bianco 18-25 mm (sul fondo del vaso)
_Argilla espansa (Sovrastante al pietrisco)
_Terriccio (Sopra all'argilla espansa)
