Pilone Liscio

Pilone Liscio is a tall handmade square-based vase, available in three sizes, up to a considerable height of 83 cm. The mouth is surrounded by a sharp frame with a profile organized on a double level, taken from a simpler and more linear one at the base. The vertical edges of the barrel are marked by angled ribs which have a purely aesthetic function. The four faces of the vase, completely smooth, are found as squared. Pilone liscio is an elegant handmade terracotta vase that can hold shrubs or small trees and that, in pairs, can guard an access or mark the entrance to a walkway or a path. The terracotta of which it is made is frosty and resistant, has good organic properties and contributes to the wellbeing of the plants housed; its colour evolves over time depending on humidity, solar radiation, salinity of the air and temperatures.

1. Dimensioni e Colorazioni
Eventuali variazioni cromatiche e dimensionali sono dovute alla lavorazione artigianale ed alla materia prima utilizzata per i nostri manufatti.
Ogni imperfezione non è da considerarsi un difetto, ma un pregio che rende prodotto unico.

2. Foro drenaggio
É fondamentale che ogni vaso (vuoto o che ospiti una pianta) abbia un buon drenaggio dell’acqua:l’acqua ristagnate potrebbe congelare alle basse temperature e provocare rotture.
Per evitare questo spiacevole inconveniente è fondamentale provvedere a mantenere libero il foro di drenaggio dell’acqua.
É inoltre opportuno che il vaso non poggi direttamente sul suolo, ma venga leggermente rialzato per evitare che un terreno argilloso possa otturare dall’esterno il foro di uscita dell’acqua.

Prestando attenzione a non ostruire il/i fori di drenaggio si consiglia di procedere per strati:

_Pietrisco bianco 18-25 mm (sul fondo del vaso)
_Argilla espansa (Sovrastante al pietrisco)
_Terriccio (Sopra all'argilla espansa)
